Stainless steel 1.4021 is describes as harder and more durable than 1.4006 grade. It is used, among others, in the production of screws, springs and shafts destined to under pressure and elevated temperature environment. In addition, it is perfect for the production of kitchen knives, surgical instruments, cutting elements. This grade is categorized as heat-resistant in environments where the temperature is not higher than 825 degrees Celsius. 1.4021 proves to be resistant to gases containing sulfur.
